On Mountain Activities
A ski vacation at Keystone offers so many choices that skiing or snowboarding is just one way to spend the day - or night.
Adventure Passport*
Guests enjoy more than just a room at Keystone; they also have access to more than a dozen free activities. When guests stay at a Keystone owned and operated property, they receive a the Adventure Passport for every person in their room, with coupons for one-time free activities and adventures throughout the resort. Activities and class sizes are limited. Not all Passport programs are available on a daily basis and activities may be weather dependent. Reservations are recommended. *Activities subject to change.
Adventure Point
Tubing is back again this season at Adventure Point! Keystone's mountain-top adventure center is home to tubing, snowbiking, and air boards. And the best part is that everything takes place at night under the lights.
Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are two of the nation's fastest-growing winter sports. Keystone Resort's Nordic Center provides skiers with access to more than 16 kilometers of groomed trails and 57 kilometers of packed trails that wind around lodgepole pines and the scenic Snake River. The Nordic Center is located at the River Course golf clubhouse on the west side of the resort and features a full rental shop with telemark and cross-country ski rentals, snowshoe rentals, inner tube rentals for the sledding hill and a restaurant that serves hearty soup bowl selections.
- The center is open daily from Thanksgiving through early April.

Fireside Storytelling
Children and adults enjoy listening to Redtail the Mountain Man tell true tales about the Wild West with his sled dogs in River Run and Keystone Village.
Fitness Center
After a day on the slopes, the ice skating rink, or the cross-country trails, guests can retreat to Keystone's Fitness Center in Keystone Lodge to burn even more calories or to soothe those aching muscles. The center features a weight room with circuit weight machines, free weights and cardiovascular equipment, as well as a sauna, a steam room, an outdoor heated swimming pool and two hot tubs. Keystone Lodge also offers a variety of spa services including massage and facials.
Gondola Rides
For a bird's-eye view of Keystone and the surrounding forests, valleys and mountains, guests can take a scenic ride on the River Run Gondola. The Gondola drops guests at the top of the summit of Dercum Mountain. Guests can then ride the Outpost Gondola to the top of North Peak where they can dine at the award-winning Alpenglow Stube or enjoy fondue at Der Fondue Chessel.
Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides
Take a trip back into time through forested terrain and wide-open valleys to a historic homestead. It's a perfect way to explore Keystone. Reservations are required. Scenic sleigh rides are with the Adventure Passport. Dinner Sleigh Rides offer western-style cuisine and cowboy entertainers. Reservations are required. Ice Skating
Keystone boasts the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor ice skating lake in North America. The 5-acre rink located in Keystone Village is open daily from late-November to early-March, weather permitting. Admission is free with the Adventure Passport. Skate sharpening, rentals, children's sleds and lessons are available. Hockey and figure skating clinics are also offered. At "Glow Bug Skate Night" the little ones light up and skate, as kids receive free glow sticks and necklaces. Call (800) 954-4FUN for information and clinic days and times.
NASTAR
Keystone offers guests the opportunity to experience ski racing on a NASTAR course, located at the top of Dercum Mountain. Run the gates and see you're your time stacks up against the day's other racers.
Night Skiing
Keystone owns the night with Colorado's largest night skiing operation. With 15 trails, A51 Terrain Park and our tubing hill, Adventure Point, lit up and just waiting to put you in the spotlight, you can ski, ride or tube to your heart's content. Or, 8 p.m. whichever comes first.
Nordic Personal Trainer
New this year, guests can work one-on-one with a PSIA certified instructor for an hour "corrective or learning" session in basic cross-country skiing or focus specifically on a technique. It's up to you. It's your lesson. The class is offered daily from 12-3 p.m. with a reservation. $39 includes trail fee and rentals. Discounted multiple days session available.
Snowmobiling
Discover old, abandoned mining sites and breathtaking views of the Continental Divide on guided backcountry tours available for all abilities. Drive or just be a passenger. Youth under 16 years of age must ride with an adult. Snowmobile suits and boots are provided. Reservations are required.
Snowshoe Tours
A guided ECO Tour on snowshoes takes guests out on the trails to learn about alpine ecology, animals and local mining history. Tours meet at 10:30 a.m. daily, except Thursday and Sunday. Reservations are required. $28 includes trail fee and snowshoe rentals.
Wine Tasting
Sample local, regional and international wines while mingling with other resort guests. Wine tasting is free with the Adventure Passport. Participants must be at least 21 years of age. Reservations required. Call (800) 854-4FUN.
Winter Fly-Fishing Trips
Keystone offers guided fly-fishing trips all year long. Minimum age is 10 and reservations are required for both half- and full-day trips. Rods, reels, flies, waders and lunch are provided. Call (800) 854-4FUN for prices and availability.
Yoga
It's easy to relax after a long day of exploring with a yoga class. Keystone offers an after-sports yoga class throughout the season. The class is free with the Adventure Passport. All classes are taught by a professional yoga instructor. Minimum age is 12.
Shop Till You Drop
Everyone knows a vacation isn't a vacation without going shopping. Thankfully, Keystone is chock full of shops, from gift boutiques to outdoor gear stores. Keystone has three villages; River Run, Lakeside Village and The Mountain House, with plenty of other shopping in the area.
Keystone Lodge Spa
The spa at Keystone Lodge is the perfect complement to your mountain vacation. After a day on the slopes or a ride on the trail, there's no better place to relax and rejuvenate with a massage, facial or other spa treatment. Yoga classes also are available. Take advantage of a menu of classes, two hot tubs, dry sauna, outdoor heated pool, steam room, and weight and cardio rooms. The spa open from 6 a.m.-10 p.m., seven days a week. The Keystone Lodge Spa and Fitness Center is located within the Keystone Lodge, Lakeside Village.
